A Cosy Movie List for Autumnal Evenings 🍂🎃

A Cosy Movie List for Autumnal Evenings 🍂🎃

One of my favourite things to do as soon as autumn creeps in is to spend my evenings watching movies. So this year I decided to make it even more fun by creating a super cute spread in my journal to document all the films that I would love to watch. There is something so fun and nostalgic about getting creative with a themed spread - it's the perfect way to combine my love of journaling, movies and all things Halloween.

This is my Autumn/Halloween movie list - filled with a mix of cosy comfort films, classic halloween favourites and a few spooky-but-fun picks. I decided to use some gorgeous Halloween stickers from Mackenzie Winter and some from Blackout in Brighton. Now will I get round to watching all of these movies before the end of the month? Absolutely not but I can always come back to this list when I need a cosy pick me up or spooky fix.

Creating spreads like this is such a playful, pressure-free way to get creative. There's not right or wrong way to do it - it can be as simple or as chaotic as you like! Whether you fill it with doodle, washi tape or cut out movie posters, it's all about having fun and capturing that cosy seasonal feeling on paper.

For those wanting to create their own movie bucket list, here is a breakdown of what's included in mine:

🍂 Cozy Autumn Comforts

The ultimate feel-good films for rainy days, journaling sessions, and cups of tea:

You've Got Mail (1998)- The cosiest autumn film ever. Must be watched with a hot drink.
When Harry Met Sally (1989)- All the autumn leaves, all the feelings.
Little Women (2019) - Soft colours, emotional chaos, perfect background watching for sketching
Dead Poets Society (1989) - Makes you want to chase creativity and wear chunky jumpers.
Fantastic Mr Fox (2009) - Whimsical and wonderfully animated, perfect inspiration for doodling
