a page without rules: welcome to my sketchbook

Welcome to my sketchbook.

This sketchbook has slowly become my favourite creative space because it doesn't ask anything of me. There's no pressure for perfection, no need for finished ideas and no expectation that every page has to be good. It's a place where I'm learning to let go - to stop waiting for the perfect moment, perfect idea and instead I am just putting pen to page.

I'm using this sketchbook as a dumping ground for thoughts, colour palettes, half formed illustrations and creative experiments. Some pages are messy, some are colourful, some are barely finished at all - but that's exactly how I want it. I'm mixing mediums freely: pen, paint, pencil, scraps. Everything overlaps and bleeds into each other and exists without explanation.

Last year I really struggled to keep a sketchbook because I felt like every page needed to be precious. But this one is different. It's creatively chaotic. A space where ideas can grow without being judged too early. It's not about outcomes or products, it's about giving my creativity a safe space to exist.

So enjoy delving into the pages.
