My 2026 Goals for Indi Arden ✨

New year, new plans... same slightly chaotic creative energy.

I wanted to sit down and properly share what I am dreaming up for Indi Arden in 2026 - partly to keep myself accountable, partly because saying things out loud makes them feel more real and mostly because I love bringing you along for the ride.

2025 was about laying foundations and figuring things out. 2026 is about growing, expanding and gently (but confidently) taking up more space.

So here's what you can expect to see from me this year:

✨ Going (Almost) Full-Time

One of my biggest goals for 2026 is to earn enough through Indi Arden to go part time at my day job by Autumn.

This feels like a huge, slightly scary but very exciting milestone. It will allow for more time to create, plan, experiment and rest (super important) and I will be able to pour more energy into the brand that I have been slowly building behind the scenes.

It's not about rushing - it's about sustainability, balance and building something that can support me long-term.

🎨 Stepping Into Freelance Work

This year I want to start offering freelance illustration and design services alongside Indi Arden.

It feels like the natural next step to use my skills to work with other small businesses, brands and creatives whilst still staying true to my style and values. Plus it will help financially with my goal to becoming a part time artist. I'm excited but also nervous to put myself out there, but it's important to remember that growth rarely happens in the comfort zone.

So watch this space.

👀 New Products… But Make It a Secret (For Now)

I have some very exciting product ideas planned for 2026 - like super exciting!

But I am going to be annoying and keep the details under wraps for a while until I have found the right manufacturers because I want to make sure they are done properly. But just know they will be fun, practical and very Indi Arden.

I promise if I can pull this off they will be worth the wait.

🏪 Stocking in More Brighton Shops

Another big goal for the year is to get Indi Arden stocked in even more independent shops in the Brighton area.

Seeing my work out in the wild will never cease to feel surreal to me and I would love to build even more wholesale relationships, meet more shop owners and get Indi Arden onto even more shelves!

🖼️ 15 Art Markets (Yes, FIFTEEN)

This year I am aiming to sell at 15 markets! Yes that's insane but I had the best time last year and they provided the business with so much growth and exposure that I want to continue throughout this year. Every market is a chance to meet more people face to face, have great chats and slowly grow my business and confidence.

So I can't wait to be able to see more of you beautiful people in person!

💖 Growing the Indi Arden Community

Above everything else that I have mentioned, my biggest goal is to keep growing the Indi Arden community.

Whether you are here for the stationary, the illustrations, the journaling or just the daily reminder to carve out creative moments in your chaotic life... I'm so eternally grateful!

I want Indi Arden to continue feeling warm, welcoming, creative and real. A place where you can slow down, feel inspired and maybe pick up something that makes your day feel just a little bit more joyful.
