New Postcards: Brighton and London - A Little Piece of My Travels

Ever since I started solo travelling back in 2019, I've loved exploring new places - even if just for a few days. There's something so freeing about wandering through a new city with my camera and explore all the hidden gems of a place.

When I started I knew that I wanted a way to remember every destination that I visited - something small, affordable and easy to bring home. That's when I decided to start collecting postcards. I loved how simple yet sentimental they were, tiny pieces of art that captured a moment in time. Six years laters, I've now collected 23 postcards from 23 different places, each one with it's own memories and stories!

So of course it made sense to bring that into the world of Indi Arden.

I decided to create my own illustrated travel postcards, and adding to the collection this week is Brighton and London. Both these places hold such a special place in my heart and I wanted to capture the iconic symbols and places of London in a classic red,blue, and white colour palette. And of course showcase the magic and colour of Brighton - my current home base - in these postcards.

As well as these new ones I also have some from NYC after my life changing trip there last year as well Paris - my favourite city I have ever been to. But this is only the beginning! I can't wait to keep expanding the series, one destination at a time, as I continue to explore new places and capture them through illustrations.
